I've been chasing the view from above since my first flight.
I was a kid the first time I left the ground, and I spent the whole trip with my face pressed to the window. I've never really looked away since.
That fascination followed me into the Air Force, where I spent more than a few days wishing I could get a little closer to the clouds. In 2017 I found a way to put myself up there whenever I like: I became a drone pilot.
Since then I've flown over Arctic fjords in Norway, alpine lakes in Austria, castles and monasteries across Slovenia, and the rivers and old towns of Bosnia, Slovakia and Hungary. My footage has reached thousands of viewers through commercials and has been featured on Slovenian national news.
I'm based in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. Every project gets the same approach: careful planning, safe and legal flying, and an edit that lets the landscape do the talking.
Meet my co-worker
Most jobs are a two-person operation. I handle the planning, the permits, the driving and the editing. My DJI Mini 4K handles the part everyone actually watches, and it never lets me forget it.
